Krishna Bahadur Rai is a professional guide for high mountain treks, day trips into the mountains around Kathmandu, and city touring in and around Kathmandu. With 22 years of experience as a guide working with visitors from around the world, he is caring, attentive, highly knowledgeable, and sure to keep you safe as you explore Nepal. Krishna holds a Tour Guide and Trekking Guide license  from the government of Nepal. 

Krishna has helped countless foreign visitors to hike magnificent Himalayan places, such as Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp,the circuit around Annapurna, Three Passes, the  Manashlu circuit, Langtang and the Langtang Gosaikunda Circuit, Dolpa and Upper Dolpo, Mustang, and many others. Krishna can also help visitors to see the great  sites in and around Kathmandu, including World Heritage (UNESCO) sights and places of cultural significance. 

Krishna grew up in Nepal’s high mountains known as Mount Everest Region, in the village of Solukhumbu Lokhim (Untouched Land), and has lived in Kathmandu for many years now. He holds a college degree from the University of Kathmandu and a Masters’s Degree in Sociology, which makes him a wonderful guide with much information about the people and places you will be visiting. He is caring and kind. His priority is to keep all of his clients safe first and to be sure they make it to their destination full of joy and information.    

He has done hundreds of tours and trekking guides with several companies. Recently he is working with the company Nepal Mountain Adventure for a couple of years back.
