Overview

Dhaulagiri region has a reputation for being one of the most remote places in Nepal. The plenty of Himalayan peaks, impressive hidden valleys, high passes, and incredible panoramas combine more with the beauty of this region. This Trans-Himalayan region is calm, friendly, and full of exciting ventures. With the mountain peaks sparkling in broad daylight, Dhaulagiri will never disappoint you with its excellence.

Our agency will bring our beloved trekkers to check out the base of the 7th highest mountain, Mount Dhaulagiri (8167m). Among the various hiking program in Nepal, Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is a challenging and adventurous trek. It will take you to a remote place far from the city to explore the Annapurna Region. This hike will lead you through magnificent snow-covered hills, freezing glaciers, and lateral gorges.

The Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is a long, arduous trek that moves through high mountainous fields and isolated valleys. You will travel through a set of magnificent sceneries, experience-rich Himalayan culture, and be in peace in isolation far away from any civilization. On the way, we also could witness exciting mountain caps, lush jungles, and farmed terraced hills.

We will be moving through two passes – The French Pass at 5,360m and Dhampus Pass at 5,200m. We will also visit the Dhaulagiri Base Camp at 4,740m. It is a challenging trek demanding a high level of fitness and commitment. But, with good strength, primary mountaineering skills, and help from our staff, you will be able to complete this Trek. This Trek awards you with astonishing views of Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8,167m), Dhaulagiri III (7,715m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Dhaulagiri II (7,751m), and Dhaulagiri V (7,618m).

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking trail will provide you with as much excitement as you can handle:

  1. You will enjoy majestic scenery from the heights of Dhaulagiri mountain, and look low into the valleys, ravines, and rivers.
  2. More into the snowy hills and base camp, you could witness Sherpas’ lives.
  3. You will be amazed to see how life carries on in such a distant place.

Sublime mountains are not the only highlights of our Trek. You will get to see sumptuous valleys, and engage with smiley local people who will welcome you with huge smiles. Also, you will witness dense alpine jungles and so much more. Our agency will take care of your every necessity and make your hike not only delightful but also safe.

FAQ

What is the backpack we need to have during the Trek?

Travelers must be mindful of what they bring on their travels. Your packaging list should include a variety of goods. Trekking equipment, clothing, medicines, a visa, relevant papers, debit cards, and so on must all be packed.

Is the trekking route challenging?

Trek is some modest trekking level. The walk includes undulating flats and steep ascents, although it is generally achievable for trekkers of any age with a minimal trekking experience. However, the trekker must be physically fit. However, it is recommended that some training be completed before embarking on this EBC trip to acclimate to high altitude sickness.

Can We travel to this region alone?

Trekking alone, however, is never a good idea. Therefore we recommend you hirethe best trekking agencies that will provide you the best trekking experiences.

Can I ask for any extra service beyond the itinerary package?

Yes,  you can ask. You can convey the requirements you want to add to your itinerary package; we will try our best to provide you with the best possible service. However, you have to pay an extra charge for the additionalbenefit you receive.

Does your company provide any trekking gear?

You will bring what you need (sunscreen, water, heat, a light jacket, and a camera), but the majority of your belongings, such as extra clothing and nighttime supplies, will be transported. Porters have been coming for long walks because you will be pretty helpful with other stuff. You can rent a guide only if you have a little time on foot (2-3 days), but it is a great way to help local economies and reasonably inexpensive to use a porter.
