Moving forward, you will be heading toward the Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is the capital of the Khumbu region. You will observe the beautiful Sherpa village throughout the Trek. We will stay in the Namche Bazar as a rest day and then again begin our Trek. Moving from Tengboche to Dingboche to Lobuche, we will finally reach the Everest Base camp.

After that, we will return to the Gorak Shep from the Everest Base camp and hike to the Kalapatter and then to Dzongla to Dragnag via Chola Pass. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu!

As you land in the Tribhuvan International Airport,you will be welcome by our representatives in the airport in the proper Nepali culture of Putting Tika and Mala.You will be transferred to your hotel room from the airport.

You can take a shower and also take a rest for a while. Today you can visit a different place in Kathmandu. You can see the Thamel area or the Asan area, which is one of the tourist destinations of Nepal as well are the most crowded place in Nepal. Here you can shopfor different clothes or ani handicrafts.

In the evening, we will provide you a delightful welcome dinner.After the dinner, you will meet our guide, who will give you all the Trek descriptionsof the Everest base camp with Gokyo Lake via Chola pass.

You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing around the Kathmandu

Trip duration: A whole day (Around 9 hours)

After taking a bath early in the morning, our representative will take you first to the Pasupatinath temple. Pasupatinath Temple has its own historical and cultural importance.Many tourists from different countries,especially from India, comes to visit the Pashupatinath temple.

From Pashupatinath Temple, you will be heading towards the Bouddhanath stupa.Here you can observe many Tibetians performing the rituals.In addition, you can taste here one of the Tibetian food quite famous in Kathmandu, i.e.,”laphing.”

In the evening you will return to your hotel room. Now you can make further preparation for your trip.

You will stay overnight in the Hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla&Trek to Phakding

Kilometers: Kathmandu to Lukla (135-140km)

Flight duration: Kathmandu to Lukla (30- minutes flights)

Trek Duration: (Lukla to Phakding 3 hrs.)

From Kathmandu, you will have a flight to the Lukla. You will be darting to the Tribhuvan International Airport as you will have your breakfast. Our representative will take you to the airport.

You will have 40 minutes of flight from Kathmandu to the Lukla. You will be enjoying the beautiful scenery of the mountains throughout the flight.

As you reach the Lukla, you will spend some time in the village of the Lukla, then proceed your trek to the Monjo. Throughout the journey, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of nature.

You will stay in Monjo for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar

Kilometers: Phakding – Namche : 4-5 km

Trek duration: 5-6 hours.

Maximum Altitude:  Namche Bazar (3440m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 A delicious breakfast that will fill your stomach and allow you to complete the walk without becoming fatigued will be on your table. Our journey continues to enchant us, and you will now wake up to the Himalayan Alpine sensation as if you are close to nature’s magnificence.

We continue our drive after passing through the settlement of Benkar and take in the breathtaking scenery of Mt. Thamserku. Trekkers must then cross the milky white Dudh Koshi River on a multi-times high-suspension bridge. Finally, we’ll arrive at the Sagarmatha National Park’s entry, where you’ll be required to check your trekking permits.

The trail goes along the steep climb up to the ridge, you can experience the mountain’s beautiful vistas before Namche Bazar continues. Then, finally, we arrive at Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazar is a well-known destination in this area.

Namche is where you will spend the night.

Day 5: Rest Day at Namche

Maximum Altitude: Namche Bazar (3440m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Health experts urge that you have a rest day, but it should be active rather than passive. In the meantime, we can go hiking in Thame or Khunde to see the communities and nature. Namche Bazaar is the Everest (Khumbu) region’s primary town, with offices, ATMs, internet cafés, shops, restaurants, and markets. Our trek leaders will provide you with information about Everest ascents, Sherpa culture, and flora and fauna.

We will also focus a little on the village of Khumjung, where we can discover a tap of air in Syangboche. The Everest view hotels, where many tourists and guests from the Everest helicopter trip stay, are just a few minutes walk away. Finally, we will visit Hillary School and return to Namche village after lunch while taking in the breathtaking views of Everest, Kongde, Thamserku, and Khumbila.

You will stay overnight in Namche.

Day 6: Trek from Namche to Tengboche

Kilometers: Namche to Tengboche (5-6 km)

Trip duration: 5-6 hrs

Maximum Altitude: Tengboche (3860m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, you will depart for Tengboche early in the morning. You’ll be walking for about 4-5 hours today to get to Tengboche. Today’s relatively flat walk will take us to breathtaking vistas of mountains.

This day we leave the Namche Bazaar, hike along the ridge for a while, and go down to the PhunkithankaDudh Koshi River. Then, after crossing the bridge, we climb the difficult path to Tengboche. When you arrive in Tengboche, you will notice the local monastery. Tengboche is home to the Khumbu region’s largest monastery.

You will stay overnight in the Tengboche.

Day 7: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

Kilometers: Tengboche to Dingboche (4-5 km)

Trip duration: 4-5 hrs.

Maximum Altitude: Dingboche (4410m )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will continue to Dingboche after breakfast as usual. The walk is easy today. We have 4-5 hours of trekking. On the mountain lap, Dingboche is a tiny settlement. You will see fewer trees as you walk upwards, and the Altitude starts to increase.

We walk through a magnificent forest and then bridge the ImjaKhola and walk across the Pangboche hamlet. The road continues to Dingboche via summer pastures. At Dingboche, we’re going to spend the night. It has many mountain vistas and is a peaceful town.

Day 8: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

Maximum Altitude: Dingboche (4410m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Again you will have an acclimatization day at Dingboche.This day is also a day of rest for the appropriate heating. We will walk to the Chukung Valley before heading into Chukung-Ri (5445m) and have a panoramic view of Makalu, the Everest, and its ranges. To the Southwest, Amadablam’s eastern side gives the scenic summit and unique outlook. One of the highlights of the expedition is this quick hike.

It’s beautiful and easy to walk up to Chhukung. We have a great view of most of the Ama Dablam mountains. The view from the valley to the moraines of Island Peak from Chhukung and further up is enormous. You will return to the Dingboche again.

Day 9:Dingboche to Lobuche

Kilometers: Dingboche – Lobuche ( 4-5 km)

Trip duration: 5 hrs

Maximum Altitude: Lobuche (4910m )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will travel towards Lobuche after breakfast as we have done on previous days (4,910 m). Today will be a moderate uphill with a typical trail till we reach Thukla 4620m. When we get to Thukla, we’ll start the challenging ascent to Lobuche.

This day will also feature a visit to a memorial site for Everest Expedition climbers and Sherpas, who died while on the mountain.

The memorial site has moved many visitors. We’ll continue our journey to Lobuche after paying our respects to the brave people.

Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp & Return back to Gorak Shep

Kilometers: Lobuche to EBC ( 4-5 km )

Trip duration: 7-8 hrs

Maximum Altitude: (5364 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The Gorakshep path passes across the Khumbu glacial lateral moraine. We’ll walk past the pyramid marker, the crest of Everest’s north ridge, as well as MT. Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtem, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and other peaks, can be seen ahead on the trail.

We would go up to Thangma Riju to enjoy a 360-degree vista of the snowy mountains. We got an early look of Kala Patthar, a grey-green knoll under Mount Pumori climber up through the Changri Glacier.As we arrive at Gorakshep, the snowy mountains, especially Mount Everest, are the place where we shall embrace them. We take the Trek to the EBC through the once-past Gorekshep lake after lunch and some rest. The mountains form the base camp are Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori.

It’s not possible to see Everest vividly from base camp. So we are waiting for the next day. We’ll climb Kala Patthar Hill the following day.

Day 11:Hike to Kalapatter &Trek to Dzongla

Kilometers: EBC- Kalapatter (3 km) / Kalapatthar- Dzongla (2 km)

Trip duration: 7-8hrs.

Maximum Altitude: Kalapatthar (5550 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today the thrill of this journey is over, and the first day on Mt. Everest is stunning. We start our walk early in the morning towards Kalapatthar in dread of missing this incredible scene.

We must be ready for the temperature (-10 to -24 c) before departure in the early morning. Some other peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Changtse Tower will be available to see. So we can stop and breathe and capture the magnificent view of the Everest area.

We will be popular as Kalapatthar following the hours of walking in the best viewpoint in the world. We will enjoy the view of the mountains.

Our eyes have an extraordinary view of the Himalayas from a heavenly perspective. You’ll be surprised by the rugged beauty that lets you comprehend the importance of your journey. We then go back and enjoy breakfast in Gorakshep.

From here, we will begin our Trek to Dzongla. We will spend the night in the Dzongla.

Day 12: Trek from Dzonglha Via Chola Pass (5368 m) to Dragnag

Kilometers: Dzongla – Dragnag via Chola pass. (5-6 km)

Trip duration: 8-9 hrs

Maximum Altitude: (5368 m )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This day, we travel for a while through the arid valley on the flat stone trail. Then we go up on the arduous path to the Pass of Chola and the glaciers of Chola. We go down the stony track once we reach Chola pass and go down to Phedi. We went up to Dragnag from there. The trail today will be strenuous as most of the trek cosists of climbs. You can see Machhermo and others from here.

Overnight stay in Dragnag.

Day 13: Trek to Gokyo

Kilometers: Dragnag – Gokyo Ri ( 3 km)

Trip duration: 2 to 3 hrs

Maximum Altitude: Gokyo Ri (4790 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We trek down the glacier path to Lake Gokyo first. After that, it is simpler to walk along a flat trail along the river Dudh Koshi up to Gokyo. The windy valley lies close to the third lake. You are amazed at DudhPokhari lake’s natural beauty at Gokyo.

Now we will climb the Gokyo Ri.Gokyo Ri ascends on the northern side of the lake above the hamlet. The view from the peak of Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu is magnificent. Then we go down to Gokyo and Machhermo.We follow the Dudh river. We seeextensive yak pastures. Overnight stay in Gokyo.

Day 14: Early Morning Hike to Gokyo Ri (5357 m) for a Sunrise view and Trek to Dole (4110 m)

Kilometers: Gokyo – Dole (4-5 km)

Trip duration: 5-6 hours

Maximum Altitude: Dole ( 5357 m )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

If you want to take another path to the village of Phorche, you can. After exploring the Gokyo Valley and Gokyo Lakes, most of the Trek descends gradually to Dole. It then goes east, passing over the glaciers of Ngazumpa. During the trip, you still have the chance to observe several mountain views.

You’re going to remain in Dole overnight.

Day 15: Trek to Namche

Kilometers: Dole – Namche Bazar (5-6 km)

Trip duration: 5-6 hours

Maximum Altitude: Namche Bazar (3440 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We are going back today from Dole to Namche Bazar.

Now we are crossing deep forests and a wide range of ecosystems. Ups and downs are there, too. Yet, you will inspire by its stunning landscape, lush greenery, and fauna. We’ll arrive in Namche after a long day of walking. Namche is the Everest region’s largest Sherpa settlement.

 

You’re going to stay in Namche overnight.

Day 16:Trek back to Lukla

Kilometers: Namche – Monjo ( 3km ) -Lukla (3km)

Trip duration: 6-7 hours

Maximum Altitude: Lukla (2840 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You are descending to Monjo again today. You will start your walk early in the morning, after breakfast. Today you will leave the Sagarmatha National Park, but you will still remember it. Stop for lunch on the road to Monjo.

Along the way to Lukla, hikers will travel past several stupas, monasteries, and mani walls and hear the rugged sound of the Dudh Koshi River cruelly below. Finally, we drive via several forest paths with rhododendron and pine trees covering huge areas while taking the last look at the snow-covered mountains.

Day 17:Fly back to Kathmandu

Kilometers: Kathmandu to Lukla (135-140km)

Flight duration: Kathmandu to Lukla (30- minutes flights)

Maximum Altitude: Lukla (2840m)

Meals: Dinner

Our personnel will transfer you to Lukla Airport early in the morning after breakfast. You will be at Tribhuvan International Airport after your 40-minute flight. Then our agent will take you back to the Kathmandu Hotel. So you can rest in your accommodation after this long journey.

If you choose, you can explore Kathmandu’s surrounding sites also. We will also offer you nice farewell dinner in the evening.

You can rent a guide only if you have a little time on foot (2-3 days), but it is a great way to help local economies and reasonably inexpensive to use a porter.

    What a adventure! Tek was the most beautiful guide, so chilled and caring he was perfect match for me. This trek is very beautiful view at gokyo lake i can’t imagine this place. The price is also reasonable .
