A short trip will take you to Tengboche and then back to your starting point, Kathmandu.  This walk provides guests with beautiful views of the Everest Region without requiring them to hike long distances to the Everest Base Camp.

The trek begins from Kathmandu, Nepal. Then, you will move to Lukla from Kathmandu. From the Lukla, you will be hiking to the Monjo. From Monjo, you will be darting towards the Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is one of the famous crowed areas in this region. 

After the completion of the Acclimatization period in the Namche, you will be heading toward the Pangboche. You will be visiting the Tengboche Monastery. Pangboche is where the Everest Panorama trek leads us, or we can say it is the final destination of our Everest Panorama trek. From here, you will be returning to the Namche Bazar and then back to Lukla and then to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

You will be entering Kathmandu, and our agents will be plucking you up at the airport and accompanying you to a motel near Thamel. You can unwind yourself from all the jetlags for some time and have your meal on time. Our agents may stroll you around the Thamel area where you can buy some souvenirs. After that, we will serve you authentic Nepali cuisine as your supper. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing around the Kathmandu

Maximum Altitude: Kathmandu (1400m/ 4593.17 ft.)

Meal: Breakfast

You will be eating your breakfast and commence your day. Then your trek guide will take you for a visit to different and famous places around the valley. You will observe ancient and historical temples and buildings, some heritage sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa. You will have a pre-consultation with our agents and tour guide in the evening.

The day also marks for last trek preparation. There are nearby markets where you can visit and buy some trekking gear as per your requirement. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla - Trek to Monjo

Kilometers: Kathmandu to Lukla (135-140km)

Flight duration: Kathmandu to Lukla (20- minutes flights)

Trek Duration: (Lukla to Monjo 6 hrs.)

Maximum Altitude: Lukla (2800m/9,184ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Our representative will bring you to the TIA domestic terminal after breakfast. After that, we will end up in Lukla with the fantastic vistas of the Everest Himalayan Range.

From Kathmandu, you will be on your way to Lukla Airport. The flying time is approximately 20 minutes. During the flight, you’ll experience the lovely views of the mountains. In addition, Trekkers explore the naturally gifted region of Khumbu every minute.

Once you reach the airport of Lukla, your first hiking adventure in east Nepal, our guide will direct you throughout the journey. First, you will trek to Phakding and have lunch, then continue the journey and reach the small village of Khumbu region – Monjo village. It will take around 6 hours to reach the Pakhding.

You will stay overnight in Monjo village.

Day 04: Trekking from Monjo to Namche Bazaar

Kilometers: Phakding – Namche (8km)

Trek duration: 5 hours.

Maximum Altitude:  Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will receive a fantastic breakfast, which will fill your tomb to accomplish the whole walk without being exhausted. Our trip has several phases still to charm us, and you will now wake up to the Himalayan Alpine feeling like you are close to the beauty of nature.

Leaving Monjo village, we continue our journey and enjoy the stunning picturesque view of Mt. Thamserku. Next, Trekkers must cross a multi-times high-suspension bridge over the milky white Dudh Koshi River. Finally, we’ll arrive at the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park, where you’ll have to check your trekking permits.

Before arriving in Namche Bazar, we must first stop in Chautara, where hikers can see the mountain’s frost views. We eventually arrive in Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazar is one of the famous places in this region.

You will stay overnight in Namche.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche (3440m/ 11,283 ft) and hike up to Everest View Hotel and explore Khumjung

Maximum Altitude: Everest View Hotel

Trek duration: 1- 2 hrs.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Acclimatization day is a must during trekking. Travelers need to adjust to the environment during the trek. Health professionals advise that you have a rest day, but it should be active rather than passive.

Firstly you will go for a hike to Everest View Hotel which is 30 minutes away from Namche. You can have a delicious breakfast with mesmerizing view of Mt. Everest. Secondly, you will explore Khumjung village which has beautiful monasteries. Then, we can go hiking in Thame or Khunde to see the communities and nature. The Everest (Khumbu) region’s major center is Namche Bazaar. You’ll spend some time in Namche Bazaar interacting with the friendly Sherpa and Rai.

You will stay overnight in the Namche.

Day 6: Trekking from Namche to Pangboche

Kilometers: Namche to Pangboche (15.12 km)

Trip duration: 6 hrs

Maximum Altitude: Pangboche (3985m/ 13074ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be heading to the Pangboche. Pangboche is the spot where the Everest Panorama Trek leads you. Today you will be walking for around 6 hrs to reach Pangboche. Today’s somewhat flat path will lead us to see incredible views of 

  • Everest, 
  • Nuptse, 
  • Lhotse, 
  • Ama Dablam, 
  • and Thamserku, Khangtaiga.

Before arriving in the settlement, the journey passes through several short and steep hills. You’ll come upon a couple of monasteries along the way that is just stunning. Today you will get a chance to see the Tengboche Monastery. Tengboche’s Monastery reflects Tibetan art and culture and is one of the city’s main attractions. After crossing Tengboche village you will hike up and reach Pangboche village which is larger than Tengboche.

You will stay overnight in the Pangboche.

Day 7: Explore to Ama Dablam Base Camp

Kilometers: 4.6 km

Trek duration: 5 hrs.

Maximum Altitude: Ama Dablam Base Camp (5527m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today you will take a day to explore and hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp which can be a bit challenging due to the increase in altitude. The trail passes through traditional Sherpa villages and through the unspoiled route of the Khumbu Region. The route is full of beautiful scenic views. Reaching the base camp gives you a spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam.

After exploring the majestic views, you will return back to Pangboche for the night.

Day 8: Trekking from Pangboche to Namche (3440m.)

Kilometers: Pangboche – Namche (15.12 km)

Trek duration: 6 hrs.

Maximum Altitude: (3440m /11286.08ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be returning to the Namche from Pangboche. From Pangboche, you will be returning to the Namche. A walk of six hours will lead you to the Namche Bazar. On the steep hill, you drop to the Dudh Koshi and then climb up to Namche Bazaar.

While returning to Namche, you will get a chance to hike the beautiful route of a trek from Pangboche to Namche.

You will stay overnight in the Namche.

Day 9:Trekking from Namche to Lukla (2840m.)

Kilometers: Namche to Lukla (13.5km)

Trip duration: 6-7 hrs.

Maximum Altitude: (2840m / 9317.58ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today will be the last day of our hike. After breakfast in the Namche, you will be heading towards the Lukla.

Except for a few brief rises, the walk down to Lukla through Monjo is a nice one. The last 45 minutes to Lukla are an uphill climb after crossing the Bhote Koshi River a few times. We cross numerous high suspension bridges again as we maintain our leisurely pace; you may recall strolling along the route as you did a few days ago. We drive through various woodland pathways with rhododendron and pine trees covering enormous areas while taking in some of the last glimpses of the snowcapped mountains.

You will stay overnight in the Lukla.

Day 10: Day 10: Flight back to Kathmandu

Kilometers: Kathmandu to Lukla (135-140km)

Flight duration: Kathmandu to Lukla (40- minutes flights)

Maximum Altitude: Lukla (2800m/9,184ft)

Meals: Dinner

Today you will be returning to Kathmandu from Lukla. Our representative will again transfer you to the Lukla airport before the departure flight. After the 40 minutes of flight, you will be landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Again we will transfer you to the Hotel in Kathmandu. You can either stay in a hotel room and relax or wander out to the Thamel area to do some souvenir buying. You can also visit different restaurants and taste the diverse cuisine found in Kathmandu.

In the evening we will provide you with a farewell dinner.

You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu

Meals: Breakfast

Our agent will transport you to the Tribhuvan International Airport once more before your departure flight. Then, if you have free time, you might go to several nearby places or eateries.
