Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

As soon as you land at TIA, you will witness that one of our representatives will be at the airport for your welcome. He will then take you to the Hotel in Kathmandu. You can take a shower and take a rest for a while in your room.

Kathmandu is a beautiful city to visit. You can see the different places nearby the hotel in the evening. We will also take you to the Thamel area in the evening, which looks more beautiful in the evening time. You can taste different cuisines and enjoy the evening.

As you return to the Hotel, you will be provided with the trip’s detailed itinerary by one of our representatives.

You will stay overnight in the Hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing around the Kathmandu

Trip duration: A whole day (Around 9 hours)

Today you will have an extra day in Kathmandu. Therefore, you can prepare for your trip. Moreover, you can also purchase some trekking gear and other requirements for the journey.

As per our itinerary today, you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site located inside the valley. At first, we will be visiting the Pasupatinath temple.

Our representative will be at your place in the early morning and take you to the Pasupatinath temple first. Then he will take you to the Bouddhanath temple.

You can taste different food in Kathmandu. For example, you can taste typical Newari Food in Kathmandu, which is one of the famous cuisines in Kathmandu.

You will stay overnight in the Hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla Airport & trek to Monjo

Kilometers: Kathmandu to Lukla (135-140km)

Flight duration: Kathmandu to Lukla (20- minutes flights)

Trek Duration: (Lukla to Monjo 6 hrs.)

Today we will be heading to the Tribhuvan International Airport early in the morning after breakfast.

You will be heading toward the Lukla Airport from Kathmandu. The duration of the flight will be around 20- minutes. You will witness the beautiful view of the mountains during the flight. Trekkers are coming closer and closer to the naturally gifted Khumbu region with each passing minute.

As you will land in the Lukla, you can rest for a while in the Village of Lukla. After sometimes you will be heading towards the Monjo. The trek duration will be of 6 hours. After the long day hike, we will be exploring the monastery and the village of Monjo for an acclimatization purpose.

Overnight in the village of Monjo.

Day 04: Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar

Kilometers: Monjo – Namche (5.5km)

Trek duration: 5 hours.

Maximum Altitude: Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft)

 A few more stages of our adventure keep us entertained, and you are now waking up to the Himalayan Pyrenees. When you wake up, we will serve you a beautiful meal to ensure you have the energy to accomplish the entire walk without becoming exhausted.

While crossing the Dudh Koshi river on many suspension bridges, Mt. Thamserku will be a spectacular treat for our eyes. Finally, we’ll arrive at the Sagarmatha National Park’s entry, where you’ll need to check your trekking permits.

The trail goes along the steep climb up to the ridge. Then, finally, we arrive at Namche Bazaar’s lively, crescent-shaped town, where we will spend the night and eat dinner.

You will stay overnight in the Namche Bazar.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazar

Maximum Altitude: Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft)

Trek duration: 1- 2 hrs.

Acclimatization day is one of the most crucial things for the long-duration trek. Especially in the hike to the mountainous region, travelers need to adjust to the environment that will help them to prevent altitude sickness.

Today you can also visit the nearby places of the Namche Bazar. You may travel to the Everest View Hotel, which is a great spot to see Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, and other stunning mountains.

You can return to Namche from Everest view hotel after walking through Khumjung Valley, Khunde Hospital, and Hillary College. In Namche Bazaar, you spend time with the jovial Sherpa and Rai people.

You will stay overnight in Namche.

Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazar to Dhole

Kilometers:Namche – Dhole (11.5km)

Trip duration: 5-6 hours

Maximum Altitude: Dhole ( 4200m/ 133779ft )

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today our destination will be towards the Dhole from Namche Bazar. Today after breakfast, our paths will lead us towards the Dhole. The trek duration will be of 5- 6 hours.

We stroll above the Dudh Koshi River on a lovely trail beneath soaring peaks to Thamserku and farther down, with a spectacular view of the enormous, prominent snow peaks in the distance.

You will stay overnight in Dhole.

Day 7: Trek from Dhole to Machhermo

Kilometers: Dhole – Machhermo (7km)

Trip duration: 4 -5 Hours

Maximum Altitude:Machhermo (4410m/ 14460.50ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Again after breakfast, we will be heading towards the Machhermo from Dhole. Today the trek duration will be off 4-5 hours.

While moving towards the Machharmo, the trail continues up alongside a valley high above the river, traversing many sandy spurs. This village is a Sherpa pasture community as well as todays’ trekking destination. We can visit the Himalayan Rescue Association after arriving.

You will stay overnight in the Machhermo

Day 8: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake

Kilometers: Machhermo – Gokyo ( 6.8km)

Trek duration: 5-6 hours.

Maximum Altitude:Gokyo (4790m/ 15715.22ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will be heading to Gokyo Lake. We will leave Machhermo early in the morning. After the 5-6 hours of hike, we will be at the Gokyo lake, the final destination of today’s trek.

The Gokyo Lakes are one of the world’s highest freshwater lakes. Trek to Dudh Koshi, also known as Gokyo Cho, over the rugged slope of the Ngozumpa glacier (Himalaya’s longest glacier).

We go through the riverbank before commencing our ascent to the Ngazumpa glacier’s terminal moraine, where we will begin our ascent to the first lake. Next, the trail goes the hill to the second lake view, and then we will arrive at Gokyo on the edge of the third lake after an hour’s walk.

You will stay overnight at Gokyo.

Day 9:Explore Gokyo

Kilometers: Gokyo – Gokyo Ri ( 4Km)

Trip duration: 2-3 hours

Maximum Altitude:Gokyo Ri (5360m/ 17585.30)

We’ll trek up to the Gokyo Ri this morning for amazing sights and a magnificent sunrise. The trek duration will be only two to a maximum of three hours. Today’s hike will be one of the memorable hikes. Visitors can view the world’s four tallest peaks, including

  • Everest (8,848m), 
  • Cho-Oyu (8,153m), 
  • Lhotse (8,516m), and 
  • Makalu (8,463m), 

Similarly, visitors will be able to see the numerous other snow-capped peaks. From Gokyo Ri, you will be returning to the Gokyo. You will stay overnight in Gokyo.

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Dhole

Kilometers: Gokyo – Dhole (14km)

Maximum Altitude: Dhole ( 4200m/ 133779ft )

Those who wish to take a different route to Phorche Village may do so. The majority of the walk descends gradually to Dhole after exploring Gokyo Valley and Gokyo Lakes. It then heads east, climbing across the Ngazumpa Glaciers. You still have the opportunity to see a variety of mountain views along the trip.

You will stay overnight in Dhole.

Day 11:Trek to Namche Bazar from Dhole

Today we will be returning to Namche Bazar from Dhole.

Today we shall pass through dense forests and a variety of ecosystems on our way there. There are ups and downs as well. Its magnificent scenery, abundant vegetation, and fauna, nevertheless, inspire you. After a long day of walking, we will arrive in Namche. Namche is the largest Sherpa settlement in the Everest region.

You will stay overnight in Namche.

Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Kilometers: Monjo – Lukla (7.8 km )

Trip duration: 6 hours

Maximum Altitude: Lukla (2800m/9,184ft)

Today the trail descends following the same route as before to Lukla. Today you will give a farewell to all the mountain views left behind. Then 5 to 6 hours of trek will take you to Lukla which is the end of the trek.

When you arrive in Lukla, you rest in a small lodge and spend the rest of your time sampling local cuisine before retiring for the night.

Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu

Kilometers: Lukla – Kathmandu ( 130- 140 km)

Early in the morning, after breakfast, our representatives will transfer you to the Lukla Airport. After the 40-minutes of flight, you will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
