Chitwan National Park is the oldest national park, having been established in 1973. It covers the districts of Chitwan, Parasi, Nawalpur, and Makwanpur in Nepal’s inner terai. Exotic species such as one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, water buffalo, and wild elephants live in the park. The park’s wilderness is made up of a diverse range of animal, bird, and plant species. Aside from that, the indigenous Tharu group’s cultural presentation and hospitality are also heartwarming.

The trip initiates with a drive along winding roads from Kathmandu to Chitwan. When you arrive in Chitwan, take advantage of your free time to see the beautiful sunset over the Rapti River. The next day is spent entirely within Chitwan National Park. During the safari, there is a fascinating blend of birds and animals. The journey comes to an end on the third day with a drive back to Kathmandu.
