The next day we will continue to raft and head to Mirmi. We will stop rafting at Mirmi and drive to Pokhara. Descending the journey, the next day will be a drive back to Kathmandu. The journey ends in 8 days according to our package. You always have the option to join any other travel diaries with the rafting journey. Day 1: Arrival in Nepal

Hello from Nepal!!

It’s your arrival day in Nepal. Our representative will pick you up from the airport and drop you at the hotel. You can take a shower have some rest and manage your stuff in the hotel. We will meet you at the dinner in the evening and introduce you to the group. You can enjoy a delicious local Nepali cuisine dinner.

Overnight stay at the hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing Day in Kathmandu and prepare for the trip

Trip Duration: 7 to 8 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

We will take a day to embrace the beauty of Kathmandu. We will start off with a plate of warm breakfast. Then we will start to sight see the popular cultural heritages and historical sites available in Kathmandu like: Pahupatinath Temple, Swayambu Monkey Temple, Boudhanath, Patan Durbar Square, Basantapur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, etc.

Finishing the sightseeing day we will return back to the hotel and prepare the bags for the trip. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Rafting Point and camp at Sukute Village

Drive Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Today we will head towards Pokhara after breakfast. We will pick you from the hotel and start the journey. The ride to Pokhara is scenic with all the green hills, rivers, and mountain views. We will reach Pokhara by the afternoon. Then we will utilize the remaining time enjoying this beautiful city of lakes.

Overnight stay in the lakeside hotel of Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Maldhunga and raft to Modhi Khola

Drive Duration: 68.3 km

Travelled km: 3 hrs

Rafting Duration: 3 to 4 hrs

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

We will start the day early. After having breakfast, we will drive to Maldhunga which will be the beginning point of rafting. It will be a 4 hours drive to Maldhunga. We will shift to Kali Gandaki river bank. There you will meet the rafting crew and put on all the safety equipment.

Then we will begin our rafting adventure and head to Modhi Khola. We will be rafting for about 3 hours. After reaching Modhi Khola, we will set up camps and prepare foods for the night. Overnight stay in Modhi Khola.

Day 05Raft from Modhi Khola to Purti Ghat

Rafting Duration: 5 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Here is another day of rafting. We will continue to paddle and the destination for today is Purti Ghat. We will have breakfast and do some warm-up then join the raft. The rafting will go on for 5 hours continuously. The rafting goes with high water flow and beautiful views around. We might get up to class IV rapids.

We will set up our tent in the bank of Purti Ghat. Overnight stay in the camp.

Day 06Raft from Purti Ghat to Mirmi and drive to Pokhara

Drive Duration: 4 hours

Rafting Duration: 3 to 4 hours

Travelled km: 109.6 km

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today is the last day of our rafting journey. We will begin the day early and start paddling. We will reach to the bank and continue rafting. After 3 to 4 hours of rafting we will reach Mirmi which is our ending point. From here we will get packed up and leave for Pokhara.

5 hours of drive will take us to Pokhara, we will reach there by the evening. You can relax around the lakeside with delicious foods and view. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 07Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Drive Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Travelled km: 204.8 km

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

It’s time to descend our journey. After enjoying breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will follow the same scenic route to Kathmandu. Reaching Kathmandu, we will drop you at the hotel.

You can finally rest well after a thrilling journey. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
