Nepal, a landlocked country located in South Asia, in the eastern part of Eurasia, and on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, is small yet so beautiful. It is basically famous as a tourism area because of its natural resources, mountains, hills and so on. Though there are about 101 ethnic groups speaking over 92 languages, the people here live in unity, peace, and harmony. Hence Nepal would be a great choice if you want to explore cultural diversity.
To start with, the trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara gives you an ideal chance to explore nature, mountain ranges, and cultural diversity. You can also get a chance to do different adventurous activities like paragliding, bungee jumping, zip flyer, and many more. The nightlife of Pokhara is something which you can’t really miss, the city that never sleeps.
Our five days trip is one of the most exciting, and adventurous and is worth your money. You will get to see different temples, museums, and the busy life of the capital city, along with the beauty of Pokhara.
Your trip starts right after we receive you from the airport. On the very first day, we will visit different places around the Kathmandu valley like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and so on. After that, we will leave for Pokhara.
We will reach Pokhara on the same day and enjoy the nightlife. There are many clubs, bars on the lakeside which you can visit. The next day, we will go boating in Phewa lake. There is a beautiful temple located in the center of the lake, which is worth the visit. After that, we’ll visit Begnas lake and Rupa lake.
On the third day, we will go to Sarangkot early in the morning to see the sunrise. The view from Sarangkot is to die for. You can see the whole city from the top as well as enjoy paragliding there. There is a beautiful temple known as Peace Pagoda; we’ll visit there on the same day. The view from Peace Pagoda is so mesmerizing.
Similarly, the next day we will go to explore different caves such as Mahendra Gufa, Chamero Gufa, and so on. The food of Pokhara is so tasty. Many cute cafes are located at the lakeside, which serves delicious food, and you can click great pictures there.
Finally, on the last day, we will return back to Kathmandu and drop you off at the Tribhuwan international airport.

One of our representatives will be at Tribhuwan International Airport to receive you. The first day will be kind of hectic as we should immediately head towards Pokhara. After receiving it, you will be taken to your chosen accommodation. We will take you to places near the airport such as Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Then we will head towards Pokhara and will see the night beauty of Pokhara. There are different clubs and bars to chill in as well as some family places to relax.

The next day starts with boating in Phewa lake(depth 23m). There is a wonderful temple located in the center of the lake. There are also other lakes such as Begnas lake(depth 10m) and Rupa lake(depth 6m), among which Phewa lake is the deepest.

Similarly, on the third day, we will visit Sarangkot to see the sunrise. Sarangkot is very popular for its mesmerizing view. The trip to Sarangkot is absolutely worth it. You can do paragliding there if you’re interested. Likewise, the peace pagoda is very beautiful. It’s very calm, peaceful as it is the temple of Lord Gautam Buddha, the light of Asia.

The bat cave and the Mahendra cave are something that you don’t really want to miss. It is unique, the bat cave is filled with bats, and the Mahendra cave is also very unique. Davis falls, Pokhara’s largest waterfall, is a very popular tourist destination. After visiting Davis falls, you have a free day there in Pokhara. You can enjoy it on your own as it is your last night in Pokhara.
Distance: 4.5 km (International Mountain Museum)
The final day ends with a delicious breakfast at Pokhara and visiting the international mountain museum, which is so wonderful. The museum mainly focuses on the mountains of the country, with a special wing dedicated to Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay. The architecture of the museum is also something you don’t want to miss. So the trip finally ends here as we go back to Kathmandu. You will get a chance to see the people, nearby streets of the valley before departing. Our representatives will be there to see you off in Kathmandu.
Nepal has a visa-on-arrival system for most of the countries. However, the nationals of the following countries cannot obtain visas upon arrival: Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Syria. One must have a valid passport and ID proof.
Nepal has a mild to moderate temperature. The temperatures of Pokhara are highest on average in June, at around 23.1 °C | 73.6 °F. January is the coldest month, with temperatures averaging 11.0 °C | 51.8 °F.
The entry fee varies from the location. However, for the SAARC countries, there is some special discount on the entry fee.
All the roads from Kathmandu to Pokhara are well pitched and in good condition. There is nothing to worry about the road condition.
