The Langtang Ganga La Pass Trek takes you to the beautiful Langtang region and the difficult Ganga La Pass (5,106m). Langtang Valley is a short valley located directly beneath the major Langtang range on the Tibetan border to the north and a lower range of snowy peaks on the Tibetan border to the south. The Langtang Ganga La Pass Trek walk is difficult yet rewarding, with breathtaking views of nature and Tibetan culture. Despite its proximity to Kathmandu, it is protected and considered the Himalayan’s “best-kept secret.” This walk is one of Nepal’s most diversified treks, with its never-ending company of rhododendron and bamboo forests, spectacular waterfalls, and glorious Himalayas. The Langtang people are thought to have moved from Tibet centuries ago.
Langtang Ganga La Pass Trek is rich in natural beauty, with lush valleys, towering rhododendron, and fir trees exploding with spring color. Langtang National Park protects a range of floral and faunal species, including Himalayan black bears, Red Pandas, and wild boars, as well as unique orchid trees and wildflowers.
