Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Here is a warm welcome to Nepal!

As soon as you arrive at the TIA, you will see our representative waiting for you. He will help you get to the decided hotel. You can make yourself comfortable at the hotel. In the evening we will be welcoming you with a local Nepali cuisine dinner.

We can discuss about the coming trekking days in the dinner time. Overnight stay in the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation for the trek

Maximum Altitude: 1,350m/4,428 ft.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will start our day with a warm breakfast. We will take a day to explore the beautiful Kathmandu valley. We will mainly visit the famous historical and cultural sites which are also listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. We will be visiting Pashupatinath Temple (temple of lord Shiva), Baudhanath Stupa (Lord Buddha), Swayambunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc.

We will try to capture all the places today but you very well know that one day is not enough to explore Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Traveled Kilometer: 200.5 km

Driving Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the bus stand. We will be using a tourist bus. The drive goes along the Trishuli River. We will have lunch in Munglin. You can see beautiful green hills, landscapes, and small waterfalls throughout the way. After 5 to 6 hours of drive we will reach Pokhara – the beautiful city of lakes.

You have entire evening to sightsee this beautiful city of lakes. If we reach early, you can travel to places like Davis Fall, Mahendra Cave, etc. We will be staying in a lake side hotel so that you can have a splendid view. You can enjoy various bars and pubs in the lakeside. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 04: Fly out from Pokhara to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni

Traveled Kilometer: 12.3 km

Maximum Altitude: Kagbeni (2804m) 

Flight Duration: 25 min

Trek Duration: 3 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will have breakfast with beautiful view of Phew Lake. Then we will take a flight from Pokhara Airport to Jomsom. Flying to Jomsom you can see the aerial view of Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri. After landing in Jomsom, we will meet with the rest of our trekking team and begin our trek to Kagbeni which is the last village in Lower Mustang.

The trail passes along the riverbed in the western side from where you will see the views of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, etc. it will be a short 3 hours trek to Kagbeni. After you reach Kagbeni you will have a splendid view of Kali Gandaki and Jhong River as this village lies in the top parts. You can also visit various ancient monasteries of this region. Overnight stay in Kagbeni.

Day 5: Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath

Traveled Kilometer: 14.8 km

Maximum Altitude: Muktinath (3800m)

Trek Duration: 3 to 4 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Continuing the trail, we will head towards Muktinath – the holy temple. After having breakfast we will ascend the trek. We will be heading towards soothing natural beauty, mountain views, astonishing landscapes, etc. the Upper Mustang Trek begins after we cross Muktinath. We have an easy trek of 3 to 4 hours to complete. On reaching Muktinath we have enough time to explore the area.

We will visit the holy temple which holds importance to both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple lies in the lap of mountains. It is said if you take a bath in all the tap waters of the temple, you might wash away your sins. After viewing the nearby sites we will rest for the night in Muktinath.

Day 6: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom via Lubra Village

Traveled Kilometer: 20.2 km

Maximum Altitude: Muktinath (3800m)

Trek Duration: 7 to 8 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today is definitely one of the longest and challenging parts of the trek. After having breakfast, we will leave Muktinath early in the morning and head towards Jomsom. Walking through Lubra village will help in avoiding the huge chunk of the read and makes it easier trek. The trek passes through beautiful long ways with mountains and landscapes surrounding us. The trail goes through the deepest gorge in the world. Jomsom is rich in barren mountains perfect for mountain climbing.

After reaching Jomsom there are various restaurants and hotels to rest at. Overnight stay in Jomsom.

Day 7: Drive from Jomsom to Tatopani

Traveled Kilometer: 461 km

Maximum Altitude: Jomsom (2743m)

Trek Duration: 8 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving Jomsom, we will drive to Tatopani. We will have to start an early morning drive since the drive duration is long. It will take us around 8 hours to reach Tatopani. We will be driving through narrow roads connected with various landscapes. Mountain views can be seen throughout the journey. The roads get rugged in various part while driving.

After we reach Tatopani, we will definitely take a hot water bath in the natural hot spring of Tatopani. Then you can relax yourself after a long journey. Overnight stay in Tatopani.

Day 8: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani

Traveled Kilometer: 15.65 km

Maximum Altitude: Ghorepani (2874m)

Trek Duration: 7 to 8 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving Tatopani we will be heading towards beautiful Ghorepani. You can see various signs for direction at every intersection on the way to Ghorepani. The trail goes through laid stones. The trail goes uphill along with mesmerizing view of Himalayans. We will pass through green jungles on the way to Ghorepani. The splendid views along the way won’t make you feel the trekking hour is long.

Ghorepani is a great place for hiking and trekking. It offers you with best environment to feel the nature. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.

Day 9:Early morning hike to Poonhill and Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Traveled Kilometer: 14 km

Drive km: 40.7 km (1 hour)

Maximum Altitude: Poonhill (3210m)

Trek Duration: 4 to 5 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today is definitely an exciting day. We will start the day with an early morning hike to the Poonhill viewpoint. From here we get one of the best sunrise views rising over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. This moment will feel like heaven. After viewing the sunrise view, we will return back to Ghorepani and have breakfast. Then we will descend the trail to Nayapul.

After we reach Nayapul, we will drive to Pokhara. The trekking journey ends here. You can rest and relax by the lakeside after you reach Pokhara. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Traveled Kilometer: 2000.5 km

Driving Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Ending the journey, we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will have breakfast, and then take our tourist bus to Kathmandu. The bus drives through the same highway. We will have a lunch break in between. The drive passes through the green hills, rivers, and villages. After we arrive in Kathmandu Valley, you can rest in your hotel.

You can also go for quick shopping if you want to. You can buy the locally made handicrafts and arts. Overnight stay in the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 11:Final Departure
