FAQ

What is the best hiking spot in Nepal?

Nepal offers a variety of hiking options based on hiking days, travel difficulty, popularity, wildlife, or trekking in remote places, among other factors. Regardless of mainstream treks, beautiful natural treks such as Manaslu Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Khopra Ridge Trek, Nar Phu Valley Trek, and Tsum Valley Trek are recommended for avoiding overcrowded trails.

Will Wi-Fi be available throughout the trek?

Wi-Fi is usually available for free or a modest fee at most guesthouses. However, because you will be at high altitudes, Wi-Fi may not be available on any given day for a variety of reasons, so don’t rely on it.

What about the trek's drinking water?

Although most establishments in the trekking routes sell mineral water bottles, there are a few places where you may get boiled filter water. There are numerous local restaurants selling bottles of water along the Annapurna region’s trail. If you’re on a budget, you’ll need to bring water purification tablets.

Is it necessary to hire a guide/porter?

We can complete the trek without the assistance of a guide or porter. However, knowing your options is important. If you are completely new to trekking or are traveling alone, having a guide could be beneficial. Porters can help by transporting your belongings during the trek. If you have any current medical issues that could cause you trouble while hiking, you should consider choosing one.

What level of fitness is needed and how challenging is the trek?

This trek is regarded as difficult and calls for a moderate to high degree of physical fitness. Long walking days, steep ascents and descents, and crossing high-altitude passes, such as the Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, are all part of the journey. Nonetheless, anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and some prior trekking experience can complete the trek.

It is advised to start a regular training regimen to become in shape for the trek, such as hill walking and aerobic activities. To prevent altitude sickness, it is also advisable to adequately acclimate to the altitude. For a good walk, it’s also crucial to wear supportive, comfortable hiking shoes and bring only a small backpack.
