Overview

Manaslu Tsum Valley trek is one of Nepal’s famous and is full of cultural experiences where you will be able to see the sacred sanctuary of Buddhist monasteries and many more. Tsum Valley, also known as Hidden Valley, is a land full of Monasteries and hamlets where the majority of people are from Tibet in the northern part of the Manaslu region.
This area lies on the Nepal- Tibet border, and this area was also one of the restricted zones for trekking until 2008. This region completely falls under Nepal but is heavenly influenced by Tibetan natives. You will observe many culturally mixed people in this region.
Tsum Valley used to be a separate area that did not belong to both Nepal and Tibet. This area is still a virgin and has not been explored by many travelers who choose top adventurous trekking areas but not this one. You will trek into this valley for more than two weeks, where you will be getting closure with the eight highest mountains in the world, which is Mount Manaslu at 8,163m.

This area is geographically and culturally very fascinating where you will have magnificent views of Mountains and dramatic landscapes. You will observe and explore canyons, mysterious Gompas, Tibet culture, and a high pass crossing. As this is the least explored valley, you will see the wild hidden tsum valley with its rich art, culture, and heritage, mountains, traditional villages of the locals, cheerful peoples, mani walls, chortens, and lively festivals of the locals.

You will make a semi-circle trip around the three peaks of Manaslu, where we will visit the Budhi Gandaki, passing the Mu Gompa at 3,700m. From there, we will be able to reach Ganesh Himal, Singri Himal, and Boudha Himal range and cross over Larkya La at 5,106m.

Our journey will start with the drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, which is the starting point for our trekking journey. We will slowly and steadily walk for 4-7 hours a day by following the bank of Budhi Gandaki and crossing many rivers, and coming across many suspension bridges on our way. We will also get beautiful views of snow-capped Mountains and trek through many Buddhist retreats, Tibetan communities, traditional local villages, and many more.
