Overview

The Mardi Himal Yoga trek is a quick hike that will escort you to the tropical side of Nepal. Mardi Himal stands tall at the east of Modi Khola across the valley of Himchuli. This Trek will let you travel the beautiful hiking trail of the western Annapurna region of Nepal. This hike includes breathtaking views of glacial valleys and sceneries of the Annapurna region.

The trail will take you to the adventurous off-the-beaten trekking route you will be walking. This Trek will take you out of your comfort zone, away from the bustle and hustle of the city. However, if you are hiking to Mardi Himal, you should not abstain from the view of fully covered snow-capped mountains. This Trek grants you a spectacular view of several mountain peaks like Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Machhapuchre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, etc.

Day 1: A scenic drive From Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 M) (Over Night At Hotel Grand Holiday or Similar Category with Breakfast)

Be ready because our representatives will come to pick you up from Hotel. Today, we will have a scenic Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The high hills and breathtaking scenery while driving on the highway will make you fall in love with Nepal.

However, if you want to reach Pokhara by flight then we can arrange that for you at an extra cost.

Day 2: Pokhara to Kande (1 Hrs Drive) and trek to Pritam Deurali (2100 M) 4-5 Hrs Trek

After morning breakfast at Pokhara, we will ride for approximately 1 hour to enter Kande. We will be moving through the Pokhara Baglung highway at the starting point of our Trek. After that, you will move through green slopes to reach Kande.

Then we will cross the lush rhododendron jungle. Finally, the trekking route will direct you to Potana. Deurali proceeds along the Modi Khola, located between Annapurna from the south and Mardi Himal. We will be passing through many villages on your way to reaching Deurali. The view of the Annapurna mountain and the Pokhara valley from this vantage point is breathtaking. Finally, we will be reaching to Pritam Deurali stay overnight and having Dinner at the lodge in Pritam Deurali.

Day 3: Trek from Pritam Deurali to Forest Camp (2600 M) 4-5 Hrs Trek

  • Trek Duration: 3- 4 hours
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will rise early morning, observe an astounding sunrise view, and have an appetizing breakfast at the lodge. Our target for today is Forest Camp. You will be walking from the plains with the marvelous panoramas of Mt Fishtail and Mardi Himal. Those mountains will seem to appear beside you as you climb.

We will stroll through a jungle camp where you may recognize Himalayan Thar, snow leopard, musk deer, etc. You will find not only wildlife species, but you will notice different vegetation. Then, we will have our lunch on the way.

Dinner and Overnight stay in a lodge at forest Camp.

Day 04: Trek From Forest Camp to Low Camp (2970 m) 3-4 Hrs Trek

  • Maximum Altitude: Low Camp ( 2970m)
  • Traveled Kilometer: 8.5 km
  • Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Everyday Morning Yoga Class (1-2 Hrs)

Today you will be heading towards the low Camp From Forest Camp. After the 3-4 hours of walk from the forest camp, you will have Lunch on the way; you will finally reach the Low Camp.

Again we’ll take a trip through a forest camp where you might see Himalayan Thar, snow leopards, musk deer, and other animals. You will notice not only various wildlife species but also diverse vegetation.

OverNight and Dinner at Low Camp.

Day 5: Trek from Low Camp to Mardi High Camp (3600 M) 4-5 Hrs Trek

  • Maximum Altitude: High Camp (3600m)
  • Traveled Kilometer: 8.5 km
  • Trek Duration: 4 – 5 hours
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Every Day morning Yoga class (1-2 Hrs)

We will have a healthy breakfast in the Tea House and incline towards High Camp. Then, we will be trekking continuously along the ridge of Mardi Himal. Eventually, you will reach Middle Camp after ascending the lush Rhododendron jungle for about 1.5 hours. Lunch On The Way.

Thus, you will be witnessing an excellent panorama of the majestic Mardi Himal and Machhapuchre. Finally, you will reach High Camp. High Camp allows a perfect viewpoint of spectacular cliffs. There are 3-4 lodges or guesthouses which you will enjoy.

Dinner and Overnight at High Base Camp in a tea house.

Day 6: Trek from Mardi High Camp to Mardi Himal View Point (4450 m), and Trek back to Low Camp (2970 m) 6-7 Hrs Trek

  • Trek Duration: 6- 7 hours
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After eating our breakfast, we will travel towards your ultimate end, Mardi View Point. Mardi base Camp will be the highest and up-most elevation we will be gaining from this Trek. You will enjoy a fascinating glimpse of the Natural environment at the base camp. You will be dazzled by the flora and snow-capped mountains.

We will have sufficient time to travel to the Mardi Base camp. Make sure you click pictures and capture beautiful memories. After then, you will eventually retrace back to Low Camp. The trail is quite steep down.

Day 7: Trek from Low Camp to Siding (3-4 Hrs Trek), Drive back to Pokhara (Over Night At Hotel Grand Holiday or Similar Category with Breakfast).

Wake up to your last uncluttered destination. From the Low camp, you will move to siding at first and then drive to Pokhara.

Get refreshed by the beautiful view of Siding. We will soon get back to the city. Today, we will ride back to Pokhara by drive. Make sure you enjoy the scenic ride. After that, our guide will drop you at your hotel. Then, explore the vicinity of beautiful Pokhara, Your own.

Day 8: Drive Back to Kathmandu or Stay at Pokhara on your way.

Finally, your trip is finished and you have a choice to return back Kathmandu or you can relax at Pokhara on your own.

What kinds of problems might develop while trekking?

This is not one of the most challenging treks in the region. However, if you suffer from altitude sickness, this could be the source of your problem. Furthermore, if you are traveling during the off-season, there may be a variety of chances of the impediment in the trip.

Is it possible to travel during the rainy season?

When it comes to the rainy season, we don’t recommend it to our visitors. Travelers will encounter a variety of obstacles if they travel during this season. The weather will not be cooperative. There will be the danger of slick roadways, among other issues.

When is a suitable time to tour Annapurna Region?

The most suitable weather for traveling in the Annapurna region is in chilly autumn (September to November) and beautiful spring (March-May). The roads and skies are clear then, and you will get an opportunity to relish some lovely panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks. Is it required to obtain insurance when hiking in the Annapurna Region?
