Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Maximum Altitude: 1,350m/4,428 ft.

Welcome to the city of greats. Our agents will pick up our lovely clients from Tribhuvan International Airport and transport them to one of the standard hotels in Kathmandu. Dinner in the hotel. After that, you can stroll to the nearby distances yourself, like the Thamel area. Or you can experience the services in the hotel.

Day 2: Exploring and sightseeing Kathmandu

Day 3: A scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (173km)

With the yummy breakfast in the dawn, we will drive to Besisahar. Make sure you encounter the beautiful scenery of the charming terraced farms and settlements along the Trisuli River. We will be traveling in local bus. You will savor the tasty lunch on the way. Our agent, escorting you, will record the permit at the checkpoint. After that, we will be eating our snacks at the small lodge of Besisahar. Besisahar is the headquarter of Lamjung district.

Day 04: Drive from Besisahar to Koto

Start your day with a tasty breakfast. Then we will drive to Koto which takes you around 5 hours. Koto is the starting point of Narphu Valley Trek. The path is not well constructed so many trekkers hike in this path. After a while of drive, you could witness glimpses of Lamjung Himal (6983m), Manaslu (8163m), and Annapurna II (7937m) as well as the view of rivers, gorge, and waterfalls. Koto is a small village with people accompanying Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 5: A scenic Hike from Koto to Meta

In the alluring morning, you will enroll your license at the army check post while you access the restricted region of Nar Phu Valley. Then you begin your hike through the shore of SetiKhola, where you will witness one renowned Dharmasala. The other trekking trail guides you to Meta settlement on the Tibetan plateau. You will have the majestic scenery of Lamjung Himal (6983m) and Annapurna II (7937m).

Day 6: Trekking from Meta to Kyang

Leaving Meta, the trail head towards Kyang, which is a short trek of 3 to 4 hours. We will start the uphill hike and cross the suspension bridges over various streams. There are no houses in this area but you will find a newly built Kyang lodge. Here you can see the place which was once captured by refugees of Tibet to live illegally.

Day 7: Trek from Kyang to Phugaon

Maximum Altitude: Phugaon (3900m)

Commence your day with a tasty breakfast. Today, you will walk towards Phugao. We will pass the Phu Khola which is over the rocky trail. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot the blue sheep during the trek. Then we will walk for 3 hours and reach Phu village. Here you will see the unique cultures of Gurung, Lama, and Ghale communities. You can also visit the very old Tashi Lakhang Monastery and have a panoramic view of Himlung Himal.

Day 8: Hike to Himlung Base Camp

 After a warm breakfast, we will hike to the Himlung Base Camp. You will hike towards the east passing through the glacial valley. This will lead towards the Himlung Himal Base Camp. It is situated at an altitude of 4900m. Reaching the base camp will offer you a tremendous view of the mountain. You can spend some time taking photos and videos then we will descend back to Phugao.

Day 9:Descend to Kyang

Maximum Altitude: kyang (3840m)

Traveled Distance: 16.8 km

Trek Duration: 3 – 4 hours

 Leaving Phygao, we will head towards Kyang. We will be following the same route to Kyang as we walked before. The beautiful mountain views and terrace farming add the beauty to our trail. Descending to Kyang will take 3 to 4 hours. You can relax and explore the nearby places in Kyang.

Day 10: Trek from Kyang to Nar Village

 Continuing the trail we will head for Nar village today. Nar Village is a VDC (Village Development Committee) in Manang district. The route to Nar village gradually goes uphill and then goes down to Nar village. This is a beautiful village but has less number of houses. The village offers you with a great view of mountains and landscapes. The mud and stone houses of this antique village differ from the snowy peaks of Kanguru (6981m) and Nemjung (7140m).

Day 11:A scenic trek from Nar village -Kang La passes- Nawal

Maximum Altitude: Kang La Pass (5,240m/ 17191.6ft)

Early in the morning, you will begin the Trek towards Kang La Pass (5320m). The trail is steep and covered in icy moraines, so you have a challenging climb ahead. However, the top of Kang La provides an excellent opportunity to view the panorama of the Annapurna massif along with Kangla Himal Range. Then you descend on a sheer trail through the moraines to enter a lush path leading to Ngwal village. You pass a few monasteries before entering Ngwal.

Day 12: Trek from Nawal to Chame

Maximum Altitude:  Chame (2650m)

Traveled Distance: 17.9 km

Trek Duration: 4-5hrs.

 After having breakfast, we will continue the trail towards Chame. Descending to Chame takes us 4 to 5 hours. The path is full of beautiful scenes, but the mountain views starts to decreases. After reaching the Chame village, you can explore the village and enjoy the great views it provides. There are also beautiful hiking spots you can climb.

Day 13: Drive from Chame to Besisahar

Maximum Altitude: Besisahar (760m)

Traveled Distance: 65.7km

Trek Duration: 4-5hrs.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Ending the trek, we will descend our journey towards Besisahar. The drive will be of 5 hours on average. The views throughout the way won’t let you get bored. After reaching Besisahar, we will transfer you to the lodge. Finally, you can relax the evening around Besisahar by exploring the area.

Day 14: Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu
