Pikey Peak Trek is a moderate trekking route located in the Everest region of Nepal. It offers stunning views of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and many other peaks. The Pikey Peak Trek route typically takes around 7-10 days to complete and involves moderate trekking through beautiful landscapes, rhododendron forests and traditional Sherpa villages. Pikey Peak, at an altitude of 4,065 meters, is the main highlight of the trek, providing breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. The trek is less crowded compared to other popular treks in the region, offering a more serene and authentic experience of the Himalayas.

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you begin your journey by exploring the city’s sights. The following day, you will head upon a lengthy 7-8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Dhap. From there, you trek to Jharpe, a 5-hour journey. Trekking onwards, you reach Pikey Peak Base Camp. The next step takes you from Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi via Pikey Peak , an approximately 7-8 hour trek. Junbesi offers exploration opportunities, including a visit to Thupten Chholing Gumba. Continuing, you trek from Junbesi to Phaplu , which takes about 5 hours. The ninth day involves a 9-10 hour drive back to Kathmandu.

With a well-planned Pikey Peak Trek itinerary, you can savor the beauty of the Everest region while allowing enough time for acclimatization. The trek route, as depicted on the Pikey Peak Trek map, leads you through mesmerizing trails, dense forests, and traditional Sherpa settlements. At an impressive height of 4065m, Pikey Peak offers a vantage point for capturing panoramic views that will take your breath away.

Consider the Pikey Peak Trek cost, which includes permits, accommodations, meals, and guide services. The overall cost may vary based on the duration and personalized preferences of the trek.

While the Everest region is renowned for its views from the iconic base camp, the Pikey Peak Trek showcases a different perspective on Everest’s grandeur. Witness the best view of Everest and other towering peaks as you stand at the summit of Pikey Peak, offering a magnificent vantage point to admire the majesty of the world’s highest mountain.

For those seeking a shorter trek with stunning Everest views, the Pikey Peak Short Trek is an excellent choice. With a well-organized itinerary, you can experience the beauty of the Everest region in a condensed timeframe.
