Our representative will be at the Tribhuvan International airport for your welcome.
He will transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Today, you can travel around Kathmandu and see different parts of the city. You can take a shower and then relax for a few minutes. You can go to the Thamel or Asan areas, which are popular tourist destinations and the most crowded places in Nepal. You may buy a variety of garments or ani handicrafts here in Asan.
We will serve you a delicious welcome dinner in the evening. After dinner, you will meet our guide, who will give you a detailed explanation of the Shivapuri trip.
You will stay overnight at the Hotel of Kathmandu.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be heading to Shivapuri Peak, which is located at an altitude of 2732m. You will be hiking on the beautiful route, which is full of forests. From Kathmandu, your path will lead you to Budhanilkantha – Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park – Nagi Gumba – Bhaghdwarwa – Shivapuri peak. 06:00 AM: Move from Kathmandu to Budhanilkantha
Early in the morning, our representative will be at your place to pick you. He will lead you to the Budhanilkanta from your hotel room. It will take around half an hour to reach the Budhanilkantha as there are fewer possibilities of traffic jams in the morning.
You can also visit the Budhnilkantha temple. It is one of the most religious places for Hindu people. The lord Vishnu is worship here. Here you will see the statue of Lord Vishnu, which is also known as the giant stone carving of Nepal.
From Budhanilkantha, you will be heading to the Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park.
07:00AM: Trek from Budhanilkantha to ShivapuriNagarjung National Park
From Budhanilkantha, we will be hiking to Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park. After walking for an hour, we will reach the Shivapuri Nagarjuna National Park. Many tourists also prefer to go to the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park by private car. If you want to go to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park by vehicle, we can also manage that for you. We’ll have to purchase tickets at Shivapuri’s main gate.
07:30 AM: Shivapuri National Park to Nagi Gumba
At around 7:30, you will be heading to the Nagi Gumba from the Shivapuri National Park. Nagi Gumba will take roughly 1.5 hours to reach. During the rainy season, the road becomes slick and muddy, which can be a nightmare. The trail is rocky, yet it is surrounded by lovely pine and cherry trees.
Hiking the trail will lead you to Nagi Gumba, a nuns’ monastery. Nagi Gumba is an ideal location for recharging your mind, spirit, and body. In the mystical union of nature and your soul, a refreshing breeze fills your soul with happiness.
From Nagi Gumba now, you will be Bhaghdwara.
08:30AM: Nagi Gumba to Bhaghdwara
Baghdwara is a religiously significant location. To reach Baghdwara, we hike the trek from the Buddhist monastery Nagi Gumba for around 2-3 hours. The scent of pine trees pervades the trail, and the needles adorn it to perfection.
Here you can see the lord shiva statue. Furthermore, the sound of water flowing from a tiger-shaped sprout brings a sense of tranquility to your body.
When you will Bhaghdwara, finally now your destination will be to the Shivapuri Peak.
11:00 AM: Lunch at local place
After reaching to Bhaghdwara, you will take some rest and had some lunch before heading towards the Shivapuri peak.
12:00 AM: Baghdwara to Shivapuri peak
To reach the peak of our journey, we will hike a path up for around 45 minutes. In the middle of the trip, you’ll come across an ashram (residence for priests). They are isolated because they are engrossed in trance or meditation.
We’ll pass by these private homes on our way to Shivapuri Peak, where we’ll find Shivapuri Baba’s monument. From the Shivapuri peak, we have a great view of the valley. You’ll be exhausted yet satisfied.
You will rest for a while here and then returned to Kathmandu.
02:00 PM: Return to Kathmandu
After enjoying the beauty of nature, now you will be returning to Kathmandu following the same path you hiked before.
03:30 PM: Back to your Hotel
As you return to Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel room. If you have free time, you could enjoy night at thamel and visit several neighboring attractions or restaurants.
There are several ways to go to Shivapuri National Park. You can use public buses from Ratnapark to Narayanan and drive for 30 minutes. To go to Budhanilakantha, use a microbus.
You can either take a private cab or ride your bike.
Yes, you can. However, we donot refer you to travel alone as you have to go through jungles, and there will be possibilities of getting attacked by the animal if you are traveling alone.
You may have to walk 7-8 hours hiking up and descending.
