Overview

The journey begins with sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley. After that, you will move to the place of relaxation and adventures – The Last Resort. Here you will get to do bungee jumping and get to do rafting in the swift-flowing Bhote Koshi River. Coming to Nepal and missing the rafting is totally not possible. After some Adventurous activities, the journey goes back to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, the next destination is Chitwan.

Chitwan is the place in Nepal that offers you both adventures and cultural tastes. Here you can watch the evening cultural show by the Tharu community which includes peacock dance, stick dance, etc. then you can go on a jungle safari and stay with the animals. You can spot some of the unique species during the tour. Then the journey turns its head towards the beautiful city of Pokhara. From here you will get the taste of the mountains of Nepal. You will go for a short trek to Ghorepani, Poonhill.

You will get to experience an amazing sunrise from Poonhill over the Himalayan ranges and descend via Gurung Village – Ghandruk. From Ghandruk the journey returns to Pokhara and comes the time to explore Pokhara. Taking an entire day you will visit Devi’s fall, Gupteswor Cave, boating in Phewa Lake, World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, etc. then you can go for a sunrise view in Sarangkot or do paragliding. Then you can take a flight back to Kathmandu and end the tour with a few more sightseeing of the valley.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

A warm welcome to Nepal

On your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, we will send our representative to pick you up. He will receive you at the airport and take you to the fully accommodated hotel. You can unpack your stuff and get a shower.

You can roam in the nearby places in your leisure time or you can just rest in the hotel. In the evening we will be having a welcome dinner together which will consist of pure Nepali cuisine. Overnight stay in the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

The first thing we do in the morning has a warm delicious breakfast. Then we will start to explore Kathmandu Valley. We will try to capture the possible places within today. We will start the sightseeing with the holy place of Hindus – Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most popular religious sites for Hindus in the world. A huge number of pilgrims visit Nepal to get a blessing from lord Pashupati (Shiva).

After Pashupatinath Temple, we will drive to Boudhanath Stupa which lies near to Pasupati area. Boudhanath Stupa resembles peace and humanity. People following the Buddhist religion mainly visit here. Here you can see the beautiful stupa, cultures of Buddhist people, etc. After this, we will pay a visit to the Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath). It is located at a top hill towards the west of Kathmandu city. It has a domed stupa and follows the peace and footsteps of Lord Buddha.

From here, we will drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. It has the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who used to rule over the city back in centuries. A few parts of the durbar were destroyed by the late earthquake of 2015 but are in the reconstruction process. You can visit the museum and see the arts and architecture of the durbar. Then we will return back to the hotel for the night. Overnight stay in the hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to The Last Resort from Kathmandu (Bungee)

Today we will be driving to The Last Resort which offers us some great fun time. We will get there via our private jeep. It is a perfect spot for adventure activities and relaxation. After getting there we will get freshened up. Then there are several activities we will do. Bungee is one of the popular and adventurous activities in this place.

First, you are given all the instructions by the bungee staff, they will provide you with a safety briefing, etc. then you will jump from the 160m high tropical George with the beautiful river below. After bungee, you can go for the canyon swinging over the bridge which can also be a thrilling experience. We will be staying for the night in The Last Resort.

Day 04: White Water Rafting in Bhote Koshi River and Drive back to Kathmandu

Here is our second day at The Last Resort. Today we will join another thrilling experience journey that is rafting. After having breakfast we will get ready for rafting. The rafting teams will be separated then they will teach you some safety stuff. Then we will join the rafting in the swift-flowing white water of the Bhote Koshi River.

After having this fun time here, we will return back to Kathmandu in the jeep. It will take us 4 hours to reach Kathmandu. We will drop you at the hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 5: Drive to Chitwan from Kathmandu

Traveled Kilometer: 181.2 km

Driving Duration: 8 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will be traveling to Chitwan. We will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning since we have a long journey to complete. Then we will take a tourist bus to reach Chitwan. We will pass through beautiful landscapes, villages, waterfalls, rivers, etc along the way. We will each Chitwan by the half-day if no disturbance is caused. After reaching Chitwan, at first, we will keep our bags in the hotel, get freshened up, and then make a short village tour.

We will get to the sunset point near the swingy bridge and view the beautiful sunset. Then we will get to Tharu Village and be a part of their Tharu Cultural Program. The program starts at 6 pm and ends at 8 pm. They perform the stick dance, fire dance, peacock dance, etc. After enjoying the program we will have dinner and return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

Day 6: Adventure Day at Chitwan

Maximum Altitude: Chitwan (415m/ 646ft)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will take an entire day to experience various rides and adventures of Chitwan National Park. We will begin the day with a delicious breakfast and then take a step toward the Chitwan National Park. Today you should be wearing light-colored dresses because we will be walking within animal’s habitats, animals are most likely to get scared of bright colors.

We will begin the adventure with a jungle safari. For safari either you can go in a jeep or in an elephant. We will get immersed in the floras and faunas of Chitwan. The Chitwan National Park is home to various birds, animals, species, etc. You can get to see the one-horned rhino which is rare in the world. We will also go for a canoe ride and get a closer view of crocodiles and other species. Then we will return back to the hotel after a full day of ride in the jungle.

Day 7: Drive to Pokhara from Chitwan

Traveled Kilometer: 135 km

Maximum Altitude: Pokhara (822m/ 2697ft)

Driving Duration: 4 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will have an early morning breakfast and then drive to Pokhara. It is a 4 hours short drive to Pokhara from Chitwan. We will be driving in the tourist bus. We will be driving via Prithvi Highway. The whole journey is scenic which will not leave you boredom. After we reach Pokhara, we will get a lakeside hotel for the night.

Since you will have enough time in the evening, you can relax around the lakeside. There are various cafés and restaurants by the lakeside, you can enjoy them there. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 8: Drive to Ulleri from Pokhara by jeep and Trek to Ghorepani

Traveled Kilometer: 52 km

Maximum Altitude: Ghorepani (2750m)

Driving Duration: 2 to 3 hours

Trek Duration: 4 to 5 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We will have an early morning breakfast with a beautiful view of Phewa Lake then take a drive to Ulleri. We will drive to Ulleri by a jeep since the road is a bit rugged and the paths are narrow. We will drive via Nayapul, the road is steep to Ulleri. After we reach Ulleri, we will leave the jeep and begin our trek to Ghorepani.

Ghorepani is the gateway to the beautiful Poonhill viewpoint. The houses in Ghorepani mostly have blue roofs. The route to Ghorepani is too steep; you might feel it is a bit difficult. The routes are beautiful as they are full of rhododendrons. After you reach Ghorepani you can rest and have fun with amazing mountain views. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.

Day 9:Early morning hike to Poonhill and Trek to Tadapani

Maximum Altitude: Poonhill (3210m)

Trek Duration: 5 to 6 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today is an exciting part of the trek since we will make an early morning hike to Poonhill for the magical sunrise view. From Poonhill you can get the magical sunrise over the Annapurna Massif Range and Dhaulagiri Mountain Ranges. After enjoying the beautiful mountain and sunrise view from Poonhill, we will return to Ghorepani and have breakfast.

Then we will continue our trek and head to Tadapani. We will pass through the beautiful forests and waterfalls. The route descends to Mountain River. Finally, you will reach Tadapani. Overnight stay in Tadapani.

Day 10: Trek to Ghandruk village and drive to Pokhara

Traveled Kilometer: 54.8 km

Trek Duration: 6.5 km

Maximum Altitude: Ghandruk (2021m/ 6601ft)

Trek Duration: 3 to 4 hours

Driving Duration: 2 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving Tdapani, we will head towards Ghandruk. The path continues on a downhill trail. The trail passes through a dense forest and comes to Bhaisi Kharka. Continuing the walk from here will take us to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village situated at a hilltop providing a great view of Mt Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, etc. After enjoying delicious foods with a view of mountains and culture, we will make our way to Pokhara.

We will drive back to Pokhara via Jeep. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 11:Pokhara Valley Sightseeing

Today we have a day to explore and sightsee the beautiful city of lakes – Pokhara. At first, we will go on boating in Phewa Lake, the boat will also take us to the Tal Barahi Temple located in between the Phewa Lake. Then we will visit Devi’s fall (48 meters) which is mesmerizing. Devis Fall has the deepest cave in Asia. Then we will visit the Gupteswor Cave located just opposite Davis Fall. Nature seems so different when we enter the cave.

After that, we will visit the World which is located on a hilltop giving a clear view of the Annapurna Ranges which reflects Phewa Lake. After enjoying this peaceful pagoda we can visit the International Mountain Museum which has preserved the records of mountaineering activities in the world from past to present. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 12: Sarangkot Sunrise or Paragliding and Fly back to Kathmandu

Maximum Altitude: Sarangkot (1786m/ 5860ft)

Flight Duration: 30 minutes

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Here comes another day in Pokhara. We will wake up early in the morning and go for a sunrise view. Sarangkot Hill provides you with a glorious sunrise view over Annapurna ranges and Machhapuchhre. Or you also have an option for paragliding if you want to. You will get to fly from Sarankot with a splendid view of Pokhara with its beautiful lakes and hills. You can get to experience the sky of Nepal.

After enjoying the moments, we will have to say bye to Pokhara and take a flight back to Kathmandu. After we arrive in Kathmandu we will drop you at the hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Bhaktapur, Patan, and Changunarayan Sightseeing

Driving Duration: 6 to 7 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will visit a few more remaining sights of Kathmandu valley. We will start the day with breakfast in the hotel. Then we will start the sightseeing. First, we will Bhaktapur and visit the Bhaktapur Durbar square which was the palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. It is rich in art, sculptures, architects, and history. You will mainly see Newar people in this area.

Then we will visit the Chngunarayan Temple which is said to be the oldest temple in Nepal. Manohara River flows beside the temple hill. The temple is rich in craving arts and holds religious importance. Then we will visit another durbar square in the valley – Patan Durbar Square. The durbar is built-in Newari style. Here you can visit the museum and explore the ancient art and architecture. You can try some local Newari local dishes in this area. Then we will return back to the hotel for the night.

Day 14: Rest Day/ Leisure Day

It is a leisure day in Kathmandu. You can spend it as per your wish. You can go shopping around the area. You can find much locally handmade unique stuff around the market. Or you can try local foods around the places. Or you can rest the entire day in the hotel.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 15: Final Departure

Can we join the journey alone?

Yes, you can join the journey alone. Since it is not a complete trek package, you can continue the journey alone too. It is not necessary that you should be in a group to join this trip.
