Overview
Tsum Valley Trek is a religious, cultural, and environmental journey that embraces all perspectives of Nepalese life. Tsum Valley, in the Himalayan Valley, is a Tibetan Buddhist region. It has an off-the-beaten path among Nepal’s several trekking trails.
Tsum Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s untouched locations. It is a hidden valley located in the rural Gorkha area, just outside the Manaslu Conservation Area’s perimeter. With its rural and culturally diverse refuge, the area provides visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience. Tsum Valley’s secluded but exquisite environment reflects its status as a lesser-known trekking destination in Nepal.
The trails leading to Tsum Valley are extremely gorgeous and attractive. You’ll walk through forests of pine, oak, rhododendron, and juniper while being enchanted by the serenity of various rivers, streams, and waterfalls. Many Gompas and monasteries in the valley showcase the valley’s rich culture and customs. Rachen Gompa, Dephyudonma Gompa, Mu Gompa, and other old Gompas can all be visited during the trek. Tibetan cultural influences can also be seen here.
The trip begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola. The trek to Machha Khola begins here onwards. Throughout the route, you will cross numerous suspension bridges and traverse various ridges. The trek is long yet enjoyable. The friendly welcome of the inhabitants will delight you. In addition, you will hike to Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Many terraced farmland and hillside villages are amazing.
